This Greek brooch is a heavy dome of sterling silver engraved with a winged figure riding a chariot and bearing a laurel wreath. The engraving is rather naive but vital; the horses' muscles appear to ripple and flex. The glossy silver dome is framed within several stepped concentric rings. The back of the brooch is stamped "925", "Kouros", and with the Greek letters Beta and Psi. It's an elegant piece with weight and gravitas. Circa 1950.

Details.....The brooch measures 1.64" by 1.33" with a profile of 0.27". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on your vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
